Mrinal Kanti Bhattacharya has been elevated and posted as Chief General Manager at State Bank of Travancore with effect from 01 June 2016. His banking career started in 1985 as a Probationary Officer in State Bank of Mysore. He has headed the Main Branches of SBM in Bhubaneswar, Delhi and served as regional head at Banagluru. He has also got wide exposure in Credit and Foreign Exchange areas. On promotion to top executive grade, he headed the Nizamabad and Secunderabad Zones of State Bank of Hyderabad. Prior to the present elevation, he was General Manager and Chief Risk Officer at SBT.
