KOCHI:
Kerala State bodybuilding Association honoured Peter Joseph who has won bronze medal in the world body building championship conducted at Athens, Greece on 18th and 19th. Peter is the only one from Kerala to secure a prize in international body building competition. He started his sports career as a weight lifter and turned out to be the national champion at the age of 22. He has also awarded the Mister Kerala and Mister India titles several times. In the meeting Peter announced that he is retiring from the sports life. Now he is 57 years old and he has been a sports man for the last 41 years. “Other than that of a competition item body building is a life style” says Peter. M. paniker, Kerala State bodybuilding Association Secretary, V.D Sunildas, Ernakulum district bodybuilding Association president and V.S Shiyas, Ernakulum district bodybuilding Association secretary were there at the meeting.
