ISRO-LPSC Space Exhibition Held at Rajagiri

LPSC-ISRO , IEDC (Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre and Mechanical Department ) jointly organized a Space Exhibition at Rajagiri school of Engineering & Technology Kakkanad on 9th & 10 th August 2017. LPSC Director. S Somanath, LPSC Associate Director Dr. V Narayanan were chief guest for the event.
LPSC. Director S Somanath gave technical talk on Space programs of ISRO. He gave insights on space Entrepreneurship, future challenges in space research. LPSC associate director Dr. V Narayanan talked about Cryogenic Propulsion. The eminent scientists shared their experience in developing cryogenic engine indigenously the various challenges from 1993-2017 where the recent mission of (GSLV Mk III-D1 launched GSAT-19 on Monday, June 05, 2017)
The exhibition show cases various satellites, cryogenic engines PSLV & GSLV models, sensors, thrusters, etc. National Remote Sensing Centre, Hyderabad gave a technical session on ISRO mission BHUVAN.
Students and science enthusiasts from various colleges and participated in the event. This two day exhibition focused on the awareness of new advancement in space science and technology and the need for enhancing the new engineering skill set.
