KOCHI:
ICICI Bank, India’s largest private sector bank by consolidated assets, organised 15 coin exchange melas in the first quarter of this fiscal (April – June 2017) at its branches across the state.
These melas were organised at the Bank’s branches in Shornur Road and Mala at Thrissur; KSRTC Road at Chalakudy; Jawahar Nagar at Ernakulam; Rambal Yuteeka at Tripunithura; CMS College Road at Kottayam,
ICICI Bank periodically organises coin exchange melas to offer a free facility of exchanging notes with coins to the general public. These are much-awaited events that receive an overwhelming response from people from all walks of life. Anyone can avail of this facility free of cost.
These coin melas recorded exchange of coins and fresh currency worth around Rs. six lakhs in the denomination of coins in Rs.10, Rs.5, Rs.2 and Re.1.
