THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is organizing a tech challenge on Industry Startup Collaboration Platform, iScp, to give greater exposure to technology solutions generated by nascent ventures by conducting a series of challenges in association with industry and government departments.
Under iScp, each challenge will be based on a particular sector and challenges curated from various associated partners will be floated among the startups across the country so as to identify innovative technology solutions.
The first edition of KSUM tech challenge will be conducted in concert with selected hospitals in the state such as Baby Memorial Hospital, MVR Cancer Centre, KMCT Medical College, and Chembra Valley Clinic.
Startups can register till December 25 to this programme. There will be an initial screening of the applications by KSUM, and then the hospital management will scrutinize them and prepare a shortlist.
Participants will have to attend the briefing session conducted by the hospital managements on January 6, 2020 to get a clear picture of the problem statements and the requirements by hospitals. On Demand Day, which will be held on January 13, shortlisted startups have to officially pitch their solutions before the hospital management team.
