As part of the efforts to transit Kerala to the full use of Renewable Energy in the near future, Kerala Renewable Energy Entrepreneurs and Promoters Association, (KREEPA) will conduct a Green Power Expo 2017 from October 24 to 26.
Fr. Dr. George Peter Pittapillil, President, KREEPA, said that in the new era of sustainable development and responsible climate change plans, green power emerges as a key player to provide energy security. MNRE through its national solar mission has set an audacious goal towards an RE based economy. With an aggressive growth target in RE of 175 GW by 2022, Solar capacity has increased over 370% in the last 3 years from around 2.6GW to 15.6 GW
KREEPA joins this future definition moment by inviting everyone to partner with us at Green Power Expo 2017 to showcase the future of RE and engage in brainstorming sessions with the leaders of the industry and regulatory bodies.
The event shall also extend a platform for talented students of engineering or any technical stream, to present and showcase their unique, innovative projects/products related to renewable energy. The interested students team of not more than 3, should register through their institution/dept head along with an entry fee of INR 1000. For detailed terms of participation, visit KREEPA website.
Selected best projects shall receive merit certificate and cash award.
