The Construction business of Godrej Enterprises Group is playing a key role in strengthening Mumbai’s intra-city transportation network, by manufacturing and supplying over 3,500 precast concrete sacrificial slabs for the Temporary Access Bridge (TAB) and 500 precast concrete tub components for sacrificial formwork. Each precast concrete sacrificial slab is designed to meet the high standards of strength and durability.

Godrej’s precast concrete components incorporate use of 10% Recycled Concrete Aggregates (RCA) in the concrete mix design, produced at its state-of-the-art concrete debris recycling facility in Vikhroli, Mumbai. This facility, powered entirely by green energy, has achieved the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) ‘GreenCo Gold’ certification for its advanced manufacturing efficiency and environmental standards. By transforming construction & demolition waste into valuable building and Construction materials, Godrej is championing the shift towards a circular economy in the real estate and construction industry.
