KOCHI:
Technology company Genesyslabs, a global leader in AI Datacentres and high performance computing solutions, has set up Kerala’s first Nvidia AI Factory for KeyValue Software Systems, marking a significant step for India’s fast-growing artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem.
Genesyslabs, an Nvidia Studio-certified partner and Intel Gold Member, designed and built the world-class, scalable and advanced computing facility in Kochi. The locally engineered AI Factory provides powerful computing infrastructure that can be used to develop and run AI applications for companies, research teams and creative studios.
The facility has been built with future expansion in mind. At full capacity, it is expected to support thousands of processors, very large memory capacity and advanced graphics processors, enabling extremely fast AI processing. Eventually, the system could reach exascale-level computing power, one of the highest levels of computing performance in the world.
Currently, the system already performs hundreds of billions of calculations every second. It can process large amounts of data quickly, handle encryption tasks, run complex simulations and perform advanced AI calculations needed for modern technology development. The computing clusters use Intel Xeon processors, powerful GPUs and high-speed storage systems. The setup is designed to provide fast and secure on-site computing for businesses
and research organisations.
Arshad Ali, Founder and CEO of Genesyslabs, said the project proves that technology built in Kerala can serve global markets. “This milestone shows that local engineering can have a global impact. We built AI infrastructure designed and assembled in Kerala to support product teams worldwide and
showcase the state’s strength in high-performance computing,” he said.
Ullas Mathew, Co-founder of Genesyslabs, said the project demonstrates how a home-grown company from Kerala can help accelerate AI innovation.
Sherbal, Founder and CEO of KeyValue Software Systems that is a Kerala-born product studio with a global footprint, said the company is focused on building AI-driven products with global impact.
“At KeyValue, innovation is at the heart of everything we do. Through AI-powered products and AI-driven engineering, we aim to redefine how technology is created, delivered and experienced,” he said, adding that the company plans to develop a global hub for AI-first products that can be deployed across industries.
