A delegation of European Union Research and Innovation officials visited Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) to learn more about the University as well as its academic, research and innovation activities and new initiatives.
The delegation comprised of ten members headed by Tania Friederichs, Counsellor and Head of Research and Innovation, Delegation of the European Union to India. Presentations and discussions about the learning and research activities of Cusat and the possibilities of academic and research collaboration between Cusat and European Union countries were made. Pro- Vice Chancellor Dr. P. G. Sankaran, Syndicate Member Dr. M. Bhasi, Dr. Sunil K. Narayanankutty, IRRA Director Dr. Saju K. K and Dr. A. N. Balachand represented Cusat. Dr. Vivek Dham (European Union to India), Dr. Srinivas Kaveri (Embassy of France), Massimo Spadoni (Embassy of Italy), Sune Kaur Pedersen (Embassy of Danish),Stephan Lanzinger (Embassy of Germany), Guilaume Choquft (Embassy of Belgium), Anna Maria Linnea Lunander (Embassy of Sweden), Daniel Shah (Bristish High Commission), Geeny George Shaju (British High Commission) comprised the visiting team.
