KOCHI:
The Malayalam translation of the book on the life of John Geevargese, the well known Malayali in Gujarat, who has contributed to the development of Gujarat through his immense philanthropic and entrepreneurial initiatives during the last six decades, was released here on Friday.
His inspiring life story has been captured in two books, one in English and another in Gujarati, by well known authors, S D Desai & Aditi Shukla Fozdar and Kajal Oza Vaidya respectively. The translation of the book into Malayalam by Jayaraman Kadambat, was released jointly by Dr Resul Pookutty and Cardinal Mar George Alencherry. YMCA national President Justice Benjamin Koshy presided over the function. After
releasing the book Cardinal Mar George Alancherry said that there should be a dedication in life to fulfill the dreams of a person, and John Geevargese was a role model for it.
“John Geevargese will be a motivation for the youngsters and children. He had implemented the policy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring in development for a nation through entrepreneurship”, Alancherry said.
The statements of Modi after becoming the Prime Minister gives hopes to the farmers and poor. Modi had also hinted that the drawbacks during his earlier tenure will be rectified, he added.
