KOCHI:
Dia Anna Augustine, a fourth-year BBA LLB student at School of Legal Studies, CUSAT, has bagged the first prize in Western Vocal Solo at the National Inter-University Youth Festival, jointly organized by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Association of Indian Universities, at Sathyabhama institute of Technology, Chennai.
This is the third consecutive year that Dia has got the prize at the national level as she secured second prize in the previous two years of the fest. Besides, Dia was a member of CUSAT’s Western Group Song Team in the fest, which also won the first prize. Dia, a trained Western classical and multi-genre singer, has performed live shows on various U.S. online platforms. She is the daughter of advocate Augustine and journalist Reeny Joseph.
