THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The Centre for Innovation in Science and Social Action (CISSA) today organised a one day training programme on Diagnostic Imaging for Ayurveda graduates. The training programme that was organised at the G V Raja Hall at the Trivandrum Tennis
Dr Sankarankutty, Former Principal, Govt Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram, delivered the keynote address, while Prof. CK Peethambaran, Former Director of Research, KAU & Director, CISSA, delivered the special address.
The training was conducted by Dr Alex Ittyavirah (Introduction to Radiology and Ultrasound); Dr Anju Gopinath (Common X-Rays of Skull and Spine); Dr Laly Alex (CT Scan and MRI); Dr Samson Nessiah (Orthopaedic X-Rays); and Dr. SK Ajaiya Kumar (X /- Ray- Chest and Abdomen, and Mammograms).
Dr Aiswarya, programme coordinator, welcomed
the gathering at the inaugural session, while Dr Amritha, programme coordinator, proposed a vote of thanks.
