Hitherto, he was Chief Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, Kolkata Port Trust and was instrumental in facilitating integrated container operations through OOM (Own Operate and Maintain) model. He also worked as Chief Administrative Officer, Indian Ports Association and Deputy Director, Indian Maritime University.
