On being asked about the significance of water purifier launch in the state of Goa, Parag Kulkarni said “Goa consumers prefer differentiated products as evident in sale of premium consumer durables. A.O.Smith with its water heaters has received good traction in Goa market. It is only natural for us to build on our high brand acceptability and provide consumers in Goa with International Standard Water Purifiers”.

08 and offers an extensive line of residential water heating products designed for Indian consumers. In 2010, the company opened a 76,000 square feet manufacturing operation in Bangalore and expanded it to 297,000 square feet and began manufacturing water purification products in 2015. Since then it is spreading its footprint in the water purification market of India with innovative products and robust consumer-centric service setup.
