THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The fourth edition of Raviz Prathidhwani5s (Ravis Prathidhwani Fives) women football tournament, organized by Prathidhwani, the welfare and recreation forum of IT employees at Technopark, kicked off at Technopark here.
Former Indian footballer Angel Adolphus inaugurated the five-a-side tournament at the Technopark Grounds.
More than 200 women employees from around 20 IT companies are participating in the tournament. Infosys defeated Equifax in the inaugural match.
Tournament Convener Sandhya A; Joint Conveners Neeta Subhash and Jisha Gomes were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
Matches of the league-based tournament will be held on August 31, September 1, 3 and 5 at 3 pm at the Technopark Grounds.
