WolframAlpha is a computational knowledge engine developed by Wolfram Research. It answers factual questions directly by comparing your request with externally sourced data instead of providing a vast list of web pages and documents. Hence one need not leaf through each result in search of the apt one, unlike a regular search engine. But it does not answer queries that require a narrative or descriptive response involving comparison.
