The second season of Glitz & Glamour Miss & Mrs. Keralam: The Crown of Glory (GNG Miss & Mrs. Keralam – The Crown of Glory) concluded successfully, celebrating the beauty and talent of women from diverse backgrounds. Under the leadership of founder Deepa Prasannan, also the winner of Mrs. India Empress of Nation 2023, this beauty pageant introduced the ‘Miss’ category for the first time alongside the existing ‘Mrs.’ segment. The four-day event culminated in a grand finale at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Kochi.
The winners of GNG Miss & Mrs. Keralam 2024 were crowned across various categories. Dr. Arya Kurup was declared the winner in the Mrs. Keralam Silver category, while Dr. Alida Vincent secured the first runner-up position and Adithya KV took the second runner-up spot. In the Gold category, Dr. Sumi Jose was crowned the winner, with Dhanya Mathew as the first runner-up and Noy Lis Taniya as the second runner-up. In the Miss Keralam Silver category, Pooja RA emerged as the winner.
Thirty contestants, including doctors, lawyers, IT professionals, and more, competed across three categories: Silver, Gold, and Miss. Participants ranged in age from 19 to 61, marking a first-of-its-kind event in India. Notably, Dr. Athira R. Nath, a cancer survivor, and 61-year-old Suma Ravi served as an inspiration to all.
Over three days, fashion industry experts provided grooming and mentorship to the contestants. Yara and Citra Designers served as the official costume designers. Grooming experts Anjana and Karl Mascarenhas from DIVA Pageants, choreographer Jude Felix, and glam coach & curator Cicilia Sanyal guided the participants. Additionally, Dr. Reshma, founder of Dr. Smile, participated as the dental partner, and Ally International served as the gifting partner.
The grand finale’s judging panel included Karl Mascarenhas; Margaret A. P., Deputy General Manager at the Airports Authority of India and Mrs. Millennium Universe India 2025 winner; Priyanka Kannan, GNG Mrs. Keralam 2024 Gold category winner; Amitha Elias, first runner-up in the Silver category; and Dr. Shilpa, second runner-up in the Silver category.
“Winners will have the opportunity to participate in national and international beauty pageants, including Mrs. India, elevating GNG Miss & Mrs. Keralam to greater heights globally. GNG Miss & Mrs. Keralam is more than a beauty pageant; it’s a platform that enhances women’s confidence and skills. Our plan is to move forward by providing excellent training and opportunities,” said founder Deepa Prasannan.
