SurveySparrow, a cloud-based customer experience platform, announced today that Shihab Muhammed, Founder-CEO of SurveySparrow has been facilitated with ‘TiECON Start-up Entrepreneur of the year’.
The award ceremony was held in Kochi, Kerala and was attended by various entrepreneurs and business leaders. TiE Kerala Awards have been instituted in a bid to recognize and encourage outstanding Kerala based Entrepreneurs and ecosystem builders, who are the key catalysts in a cultural shift in youth towards entrepreneurship.

Based in the US, SurveySparrow was founded in October 2017 by Freshworks veteran Shihab Muhammed and ex-Zoho employee Subin Sebastian with offices in Kochi & Palo Alto. SurveySparrow has conducted over 20000 surveys till date and has over 12,000 customers in 108 countries including DiDi, PaySafe, FedEx, Deloitte Digital, SAP, and Siemens. The company raised $1.4 million in seed funding from Prime Venture Partners earlier this year. The company was also recently recognized at the KMA-NASSCOM awards as the start-up of the year 2019.
