Skill Acquisition is Inevitable: Dr. J. Letha

KOCHI:
“Indian economy is technology driven and skilled human resource is crucial to the socio-economic progress of the society”, said Dr. J. Letha while inaugurating the International Conference on HRD (ICHRD- 2018) organized by DDUKK of Cusat. She also urged all educational institutions to give importance to develop skill competency along with the curriculum.
Dr. K. A. Zakkaria, Director, DDUKK, Dr. A. K. Saju, Member Syndicate, Dr. J. Rajan, Member Advisory Committee, DDUKK, Dr. Renjini. D and Smarty P. Mukundan, co-ordinators also spoke at the function which was held at the Seminar Complex, Cusat. Dr. Kamila Ludwikowska, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland, delivered the keynote address on the topic ‘Evidence-based training Approach for Increasing Organisational Performance’ and Muhamed Ali Bin Hajah Mydin on the topic “Skill Development Agenda for Technology Driven Economies in Developing Countries’. Seminar will conclude on tomorrow.
