The girl was last seen around 10.30 am on Tuesday, according to police reports. After preliminary searches yielded no results, her parents filed a complaint, prompting a massive search operation . CCTV footage from various city locations, including railway and bus stations , was examined.
A breakthrough came when a woman passenger reported seeing a girl matching Thamasum’s description on a Kanyakumari -bound train. The passenger provided a photograph, which the parents confirmed as their missing daughter. Consequently, Kerala police extended their search operation s to the Kanyakumari region in Tamil Nadu, although confirmation of the girl’s arrival there remains elusive.
