New Delhi: RSS leader Sasidharan has approached the Supreme Court with a plea to shift the trial in the Kathiroor Manoj Murder Case to any other state outside Kerala, alleging that CPM leaders would ‘influence’ the case.
Sasidharan, who is also a witness in the case, has apprehensions about the trial being conducted in Kerala where CPM is the ruling party. Kathiroor Manoj was allegedly killed by CPM activists and senior CPM leader P Jayarajan is an accused in the case.
The court has asked the petitioner to file an affidavit about how Jayarajan can influence the trial.
