Research Training School in Physics Inaugurated

KOCHI:
A Five day ‘Research Training School in Physics’ (RTSP- 2018) for master’s level students in Physics was inaugurated at Department of Physics, Cochin University of Science and Technology by Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. P. G. Sankaran.
Prof. Vicente Munoz-Sanjose, Valencia University, Spain, Prof. Sitabhra Sinha, Institute of Mathematical Science, Chennai, Dr. M. Junaid Bushiri, Head, Department of Physics and Dr. Sasidevan. V, Convener spoke. The programme provides the students with opportunity to interact with eminent Scientists and experts in research areas of contemporary relevance.
The programme includes lectures delivered by eminent scientists and academicians and opportunity to have hands-on experience in the State-of –the art research laboratories of the Department. The research training will conclude on 16 th March.
