In a historic result, a record 7559 students from Aakash Institute, the national leader in test preparatory services, have qualified the prestigious JEE Mains 2020 examinations. Out of a total of 24 students from across India who secured 100 percentile, 3 are Aakashians, an impressive feat that speaks volumes of the faculty, curriculum and training at Aakash.
The total number of qualified includes students from Aakash Institute’s Classroom Programme, Aakash Distance Learning Programme (DLP) and Aakash Digital. 12 Aakashians have the distinction of being Toppers in the states of Delhi, Kerala, Odisha, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Ladakh. Out of the 12, 6 are State Toppers and 6 are Girl Toppers.
While 572 students secured 99 percentile and above, an impressive 2,574 students scored 95 percentile and above. Three students scored 100 percentile and became National Toppers; 16 students scored 100 percentile in Physics; 6 in Chemistry and 24 in Mathematics.
The Top scorer in the Classroom course at Aakash Institute are Chirag Falor (AIR-12) 100 percentile (296/300) who also topped Delhi NCT; followed by Sooraj Srinivasan (AIR-34) from Chennai with 99.99 percentile; Avval Amil (AIR 43) from Jalandhar with 99.99 percentile; Perit Paliwal (AIR 75) from Noida with 99.99 percentile; Era Sarda (AIR-79) from Delhi NCT with 99.99 percentile and Shikhar Agarwal (AIR-99) from Greater Noida with 99.99 percentile. Parveez Mehdi from the Classroom programme secured 96.52 percentile and topped the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Out of the 6 Girl Toppers, students enrolled in the Classroom course are Era Sarda (AIR-79) who secured 99.99 percentile from Delhi NCT; Sreemanti Dey (AIR-131) with 99.99 from West Bengal; Shreeya Moghe (AIR-241) with 99.98 from Madhya Pradesh and Vanshita (AIR-2002) with 99.83 percentile from Himachal Pradesh.

JEE (Main) Examination for B.E./B.Tech was conducted by NTA from September 01-06, 2020 in 660 centres across the country. A total number of 6 lakh candidates appeared for B.E. /B. Tech. in the examination this year.
