Raksha Rajya Mantri Visited NPOL

KOCHI:
Rakshya Rajya Mantri, Dr Subhash Bhamre visited Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), Thrikkakara, Kochi. NPOL is the only research laboratory in Kerala under Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Ministry of Defence. During his visit, Dr Subhash Bhamre interacted with the NPOL
scientists and saw the technologies and facilities developed by NPOL. He also addressed the officers and staff of NPOL. During his address, he mentioned that NPOL is one of the best peroformming laboratories of DRDO and the products delivered by NPOL have enhanced Indian Navy’s Operational Capabilities. He also appreciated DRDO’s efforts in realizing Prime Minister’s “Make in India” initiatives a success and DRDO is considered as a symbol of ‘indigenization’.
He was received by S Kedarnath Shenoy, Outstanding Scientist and Director NPOL along with senior scientists and administrators of the laboratory.
