PV Sindhu, Sakshi Malik, Dipa Karmakar and Pullela Gopichand Awarded BMW Cars

Rio Olympic medal winners PV Sindhu, Sakshi Malik along with Dipa Karmakar and Pullela Gopichand were awarded BMW cars for their outstanding achievement at Rio Olympics 2016. Cricketing legend and Goodwill Ambassador for India at Rio Olympics Sachin Tendulkar continued to cheer for the Olympians for making India proud with his presence at the felicitation ceremony.
Sachin was also instrumental in garnering nationwide support and goodwill to the Indian contingent at the Rio Olympics. He further continued to motivate the Indian contingent during the Olympics at Rio de Janeiro.
The idea to reward the Sport Stars with BMW cars for their success at the Rio Olympics was conceptualised by V Chamundeshwarnath, president of Hyderabad District Badminton Association.
BMW cars were handed over to the Sport Stars by V Chamundeshwarnath, president of Hyderabad District Badminton Association, K T Rama Rao, IT & Industries Minister, Nimmagadda Prasad, Serial Entrepreneur and Co – Owner of KBFC, Chalamallasetti Anil, Yerneni Naveen, Mannam Venkataramana and Tatineni Srinivas at an exclusive function held at the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad organised by the Hyderabad District Badminton Association.
