Progressive Techies at Infopark has launched a monthly talk series called ‘The Dialogue’ to help aspiring entrepreneurs navigate their journey from idea to execution.
Progressive Techies at Infopark is is a socio-cultural and welfare organisation of IT professionals in Kerala. The first edition of the series was held in Infopark Kochi on Wednesday on the theme “From Idea to MVP: How Founders Can Build, Pitch & Scale.”
The event brought together industry experts and investors, besides officials from the Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM).
Delivering the inaugural address, Infoparks Kerala CEO Susanth Kurunthil said thousands of young innovators are searching for the right spark and the right partners to turn breakthrough ideas into viable startups.
He noted that over the past 10–15 years, Kerala has built a clear and supportive pathway for entrepreneurs, covering ideation, prototyping, product development, go-to-market support and investment readiness.
Susanth Kurunthil emphasised that this progress has been a collective effort, crediting government initiatives, technology partners and tech community groups like GTech and Progressive Techies for strengthening the ecosystem.
Encouraging new founders, he said entrepreneurs should not fear leaving secure jobs or worry about failure.
Lt. Cdr. Sajith Kumar E V (Retd.), Director at KSUM, said the startup ecosystem thrives when two types of founders come together: those with strong innovative ideas and those skilled at spotting market shifts and building teams. He noted that tech hubs such as Infopark and Technopark host thousands of potential idea-holders who often need the right collaborator to turn concepts into scalable companies.
Nasif NM, Lead, Programme & Communications at KSUM, delivered a presentation outlining the mission’s evolution and the strength of its startup support ecosystem. He also shared updates on Huddle Global 2025, the upcoming flagship startup event.
The evening also featured two panel discussions. The first one, titled “Unlocking Entrepreneurial Potential,” featured Aabasoft Founder and CEO Sujas Ali, Web and Crafts CEO Jilu Joseph, Interval Learning Co-founder Ramees Ali, and XR Horizon Founder and CEO Densil Antony.
The second session, a fireside chat on the Kerala startup investment landscape, brought together Jain Deemed-to-be University Director Tom M Joseph, MyKare Founder and CEO Senu Sam, and Lt. Cdr. Sajith Kumar (Retd.).
The welcome address was delivered by Shiyas V. P., Unit Secretary of Progressive Techies. The vote of thanks was proposed by Anish Panthalani, State President of Progressive Techies.
