KOCHI:
Popular Autocross 2018 has started at the specially designed 1.5 kilometres log track at the Cochin International Airport Limited Convention Ground.
More than 80 vehicles participated in the initial rounds of autocross which was conducted in 7 categories. 1100 CC, 1400 CC, 1650CC, Gipsy, Kerala Class, Ladies Class and Indian Open where the categories . The autocross been conducted as per the supplementary regulations approved by Federation of Motor Sports Club of India and in association with Motor Sports Club of India.
The top 5 vehicles from each category will be participating in the final round which is to be held tomorrow at 2 pm. The total price money of the autocross is 2.25 lakhs . The price distribution will be at 6 pm. The Popular Autocross 2018 is conducted in connection with the Petes Festival of Speed, a luxury vehicle exhibition conducted by Petes Automotive Products.
