Pepper Trust will be organizing the Pepper Awards, the most sought after creative awards in South India, on 27 th April 2018 at Le Meridien Kochi at 6 PM.
One of the biggest names in Indian Advertising, R. Balakrishnan, popularly known as R. Balki, former Group Chairman of the advertising agency Lowe Lintas and noted Indian filmmaker and screenwriter , will inaugurate the Pepper Awards 2018. Prior to the award function , Pepper Trust is also organizing two workshops – one on Digital Advertising by Dinesh Swamy and the other on Copywriting by Prathap Suthan.
The sessions will be from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm at Le Meridien CSM hall. Those from the advertising & marketing fraternity and students from management and communication schools can participate in the sessions. Entry is free.
More than 75 agencies across South India have sent in about 650 entries on various categories ranging from Print, film, radio, OOH, digital, cyber etc. There were special categories for Kerala based agencies on textile, real estate, hospitality, ayurveda etc. Around 125 metals and more than 45 finalists will be awarded at the ceremony. Leading media houses like Malalayala Manorama, Mathrubhumi, Asianet, MM TV, Club FM, Radio Mango and many leading ad agencies like Stark, Banana Brand Works, Be Positive, Happy Creatives, RK Swamy BBDO, Draft FCB Ulka, Organic BPS, Team One, Hammer,Langoor, Buzzstop and ad film makers like Nirvana, Images, TVC Factory, Cat Entertainments, Black Box etc have actively participated in the contest.
Prathap Suthan, Co-founder and CCO, Bang In the Middle; K S Chakravarthy, Co founder and CCO, Tidal 7 Brand and Digital; K V Sreedhar(Pops), founder and CCO, Hyper Collective; Raj Nair, CCO and CEO, Madison BMB; Meera Sarath, CEO and CCO, Tigress Tigress; Atul Kattukaran, Partner First December and renowned ad film maker were the jury members.
The winners will be presented with Gold, Silver and Bronze awards and certificates. Agency of the year award, advertiser of the year award, special jury award, copywriter of the year award etc will be awarded. Entry will be restricted by invitation for sessions & award function.
