Kochouseph Chittilappilly, philanthropist and businessman said state government’s measures on organ donation are transparent and faultless.
He was speaking at the function of honoring kin of posthumous organ donors held at S H College Thevara yesterday. Allegation against private hospitals that they deliberately murder patients for organ mafia is baseless, he added.
Relatives of four organ donors who are Akhila Antony (13) of Puthanvelikkara, Nidhin (20) of Karunagappally, Binu Krishnan (35) of Vytila, and Sunil Kumar (44) of Aroor were honored during the function. 30 lives were saved by organ donation by the four. S H College Principal Fr. Dr. Prashanth Palakkappally presided over the function while MG University N S S coordinator Pro. M J Mathew, S H College N S S program officer Dr. Remya Ramachandran, K Chittilappilly Foundation Executive Director Dr. George Sleeba, Director Jacob Kuruvila and Manager Bently Thadikkaran spoke. This is the 11thfelicitation function organized by K Chittilappilly Foundation.
