

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
A delegation from the National University of Science and Technologies in Oman visited Technopark as part of a mission to explore possibilities of cooperation in the field of technology. The team held discussions with the State’s other leading institutions like Digital University, Kerala Startup Mission, ICT Academy, and Technopark.
Oman varsity Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ali Saad Al-Bimani, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Provost Dr. Salim al-Araimi, College of Engineering Dean Dr. Ahmad Hassan al-Bulushi and CEO and Executive Advisor Prof MP Nair were part of the Omani team. Sree Narayana Guru Open University Vice-Chancellor Dr. PM Mubarak Pasha and Kerala Digital University Business Development Lead Manu Thomas accompanied the team.
The Omani delegation received a warm welcome at Technopark and Assistant General Manager (Customer Relationship) Vasanth Varada briefed the team about the IT parks in the State and the opportunities for collaboration.
ICT Academy CEO Santhosh Chandrasekara Kurup, Kerala startup mission Business Development and Startup Life Cycle Senior Manager Ashok Kurian Panjikaran, Global Linkages Assistant Manager Salini VR, Rejah Rahim of Beagle Securities, Arun from Neonics Academy and Bhadran for Alibi Global Pvt Ltd presented a picture of the collaboration possibilities.
Earlier, the Omani delegation visited Kerala Digital University and was briefed about the Kerala-Oman cooperation streams in technology.
