The National Photonics Symposium organised by the Department of International School of Photonics, CUSAT
was inaugurated by Dr. R Sasidharan, Vice Chancellor.
As the Nobel Prize for Physics last year was awarded through Photonics, the international attention on Photonics has increased and has benefited for the growth of Photonics, he said. Prof. Rajesh Menon, Utta University, USA delivered keynote address. Prof. Jayaraj (CUSAT), Prof. Narayana (IIT, Jodhpur) and Prof. Suchand Sangeeth (NIT, Calicut) led the various sessions. Prof. A Mujeeb, Director, International School of Photonics and Muhammad Rishad, Co-ordinator spoke.
