Muthoot M George Foundation Felicitates 10th Standard Toppers

Muthoot Finance Ltd, India’s largest gold loan company’s Corporate Social Responsibility wing Muthoot M George Foundation inaugurated it’s educational initiative “ Muthoot M George Excellence Awards distribution 2017 “ for all government schools in Kerala. The educational initiative is a part of one of the Corporate Social Responsibility activity undertaken by the company. The Excellence award for 2017 was inaugurated and distributed by Hibi Eden, MLA along with George Alexander Muthoot, Managing Director,The Muthoot Group.
The other officials present during this occasion include P.C Cyriac, Saji Kumar, State Executive Committee Member, BJP, Thomas Abraham, President, YMCAalong with PTA members, students and parents. This scholarship will benefit students of 1050 Government schools and consists of a cash prize of Rs.3000 with a certificate duly signed by Educational Officer and Chairman of Muthoot M George Foundation. The scholarship award was launched in the year 2010 to the toppers of govt schools in Kerala, later in 2013 it got extended to state of Karnataka, Telengana and Andhra Pradesh. The selection of the scholarships is based on the list of rank holders prepared of various govt schools in consultation with District Educational Offices.
Speaking on this occasion George Alexander Muthoot, MD, Muthoot Finance Ltd, said, “We bestowed scholarships to 1050 government school toppers across Kerala to nurture and encourage the young minds. We remain duly committed to the community with various corporate social responsibilities in the near future.”
