Muthoot M George Foundation Felicitates 10th Standard Toppers

MUMBAI:
Muthoot M George Foundation, the CSR wing of Muthoot Finance Ltd, felicitated 10th class topper students of 150 government-run schools in Mumbai.
‘Muthoot M George Excellence Awards 2017’ was held today in Mumbai in the presence of Ramratanam, CEO, Muthoot Home Finance, Babu John Malayil, DGM, Corporate Communications, Muthoot Finance Ltd and Jacob Koshy, President Bombay YMCA.
Also present during the function were Paul George, Officiating General Secretary, Bombay YMCA, Bhaskar Kumar, Secretary, ORD Department and Ashok Joshi, Chairman ORD Department.
Venkatramana, Zonal Manager and other Regional Managers of Muthoot Finance Ltd, Mumbai along with parents and teaching community members too were present during the award function.
Each topper received cash prize of Rs. 5,000 along with a certificate duly signed by Education Officer, BMC, along with George Alexander Muthoot, Chairman of Muthoot M George Foundation.
Eapen Alexander Muthoot, Executive Director, Muthoot Group said, “We bestowed scholarships to 150 government school toppers across Mumbai to nurture and encourage the young minds. We remain duly committed to the community with various corporate social responsibilities in the near future.”
The scholarship award was launched in 2010 in Kerala. Later in 2013, it got extended to states of Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The selection of the scholarship is based on the list of rank holders prepared by various government schools in consultation with BMC Educational Offices.
