New Delhi: Tamil Nadu withdrew its interim plea before Supreme Court seeking CISF security cover for Mullaperiyar dam as the court objected to the filing of such interim pleas in cases which are already decided.
“Once the decree is passed, you cannot file interim applications in it,” a three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice T S Thakur said.
Tamil Nadu government had moved the apex court last year seeking CISF security for the the dam, Currently, the security of the dam is in the hands of Kerala government.
