THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
A Mid Term Pension Adalat-2018 was organized by Thiruvananthapuram division on 13th July 2018 at The Railway Kalyana Mandapam, Thampanoor.
The Adalat serves as a forum for redressal of grievance faced by Railway Pensioners and dealt with 228(Two Hundred and Twenty Eight) representations received from the railway pensioners. The claims for unsettled dues pertaining to 194 cases were resolved with sanction for release of a sum of Rs 17,76,350 (Rupees Seventeen Lakhs Seventy Six Thousand Three Hundred and Fifty) at the Adalat. 31(Thirty One) representations found contradictory to existing rules were not accepted. A medical camp was conducted for the benefit of pensioners.
Shirish Kumar Sinha, Divisional Railway Manager, Thiruvananthapuram division presided over and P Jayakumar, Additional Divisional Railway Manager, L Deepthi. Sr. Divisional Finance Manager along with officers from the Medical, Personnel and Accounts department were present in the Mid Term Pension Adalat 2018.
