Maritime Day Celebration at Cusat

KOCHI:
K M School of Marine Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology will conduct the National Maritime Day on 5th April at K M School of Marine Engineering hall.
N M C Nair, Chairman, Institute of Marine Engineers (India) will be the chief guest. Prof. (Dr.) K.A. Simon, Director, K M School of Marine Engineering will preside. Capt. P. Jayaprakash, Former Director of Ports, Kerala, will deliver the keynote address. C.S. Kiran, Engineer and Ship Surveyor-cum- Dy. Director General (Tech), Mercantile Marine Department, Cochin will distribute the grant constituted by Maritime Training Trust, Directorate General of Shipping to four 1st year girl cadets.
KMSME Course–in-charge Prof.N.G. Nair and Nila John, the first girl cadet passed out and joined as Fifth Engineer Officer MV Kavaratti, Lakshawdeep Development Corporation Ltd., Cochin will speak.
