Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is organising a conclave this weekend, exploring new opportunities in the creative sector and drive innovation in ways that foster sustainable growth.
Named ‘Beyond Tomorrow’, the July 20 conference in the city will feature expert panels and discussions on policy changes and job creation, besides integrating arts in education, tourism and technology. Initiated by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and UNESCO under the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, the event at Le Méridien is being organised in collaboration with The Art Outreach Society (TAOS). Beyond Tomorrow aims to shape Kerala’s creative economies for social and economic development.

Besides exploring the intersections of culture, education, tourism and technology, Beyond Tomorrow will facilitate professionals to network with stakeholders from various sectors. While exploring ways on how the creative economy can drive sustainable growth and innovation, the conclave will benefit educators, policymakers, entrepreneurs and creative professionals by providing perspectives and opportunities to contribute to Kerala’s future, organisers said today.
Beyond Tomorrow is KSUM’s step towards developing a creative economy, as the event is being organised in collaboration with FICCI and TAOS. The conference at Le Méridien aims to explore the future of Kerala’s cultural and creative sectors and their potential to drive economic and social growth, Nasif N.M. of KSUM and TAOS Executive Director Tanya Abharaham told a press conference here.
The key partners of the event include UNESCO, British Council, SAIK (Society of AVGC Institutions in Kerala) and Teamworks. The conference will feature a series of keynote addresses, panel discussions and networking opportunities with leading experts and influencers in the creative industries.
KSUM is the Kerala government’s nodal agency established in 2006 for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities in the state.
