Eminent industrialist Kochouseph Chittilappilly and his family have joined the efforts to fight the Covid-19 menace which has forced the country to a 21-day lockdown now.
The Chittilappilly family on Monday donated Rs 2 crore as their personal contribution to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund joining the fight and relief efforts of the government in the wake of the Covid-19 menace. Kochouseph Chittilappilly handed over the NEFT receipt and a letter extending best wishes for the efforts of the government in the fight, to Agriculture Minister V S Sunil Kumar at the Ernakulam District Collectorate at Kakkanad here. Ernakulam District Collector Suhas was also present on the occasion.
V-Guard and its sister concerns have contributed 13 ventilators and other treatment facilities to Kottayam Medical College and Kozhikode Government Hospital as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility activities. All the V-Guard establishments in other states too are actively engaged in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in these states.
