KOCHI:
To commemorate the completion of 60 years of its existence, the Kerala Management Association (KMA) released its special Diamond Jubilee logo by Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Union Minister of State Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, in a ceremony held at All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi.
KMA has planned an yearlong celebration as part of the Diamond Jubilee year and is planning to have the inauguration of the same in November. Major thrust will be on various programs to enhance employable skill development of youth in the state of Kerala. A series of management development programs, workshops, seminars and lecture series will be organised during the period. Mega convention of Business School and Engineering students, National Convention of Management professionals, Annual Awards for Management Excellence of individuals and Corporates, Management Week celebrations etc. will be the major events during the year.
KMA established in November 1957, was originally christened as Kerala Institute of Management and subsequently got affiliated to All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi thus becoming Kerala Management Association. KMA has played a significant role in the industrial and commercial development of the state and has been playing a pivotal role in the promotion and propagation of contemporary management practices in Kerala for the last 60 years.
