KOCHI:
Kerala Blasters FC, on behalf of the Young Blasters programme launches three new football centres in Kochi, in association with the Cochin Diocesan Corporate Education Agency (CEA).
The centres will be functional at St. Mary’s School, Chellanam, St. Joseph’s School, Chullickal and St. Augustine School, Aroor. The launch was announced at an event conducted jointly by the club and CEA on 10th February 2020 at the St. Mary’s School Ground, Chellanam.
The program was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Joseph Kariyil, the Kochi Bishop and was also attended by the KBFC players, Prasanth K. and Mario Arques. As part of the launch, the club will be conducting open trials in the 1st week of April under the supervision and guidance of the KBFC Technical Director, Marian Marinica. Eligible students will be awarded a scholarship at the centres.
The KBFC Young Blasters Football Centres are launched with an objective to spread the KBFC style of football across Kerala through a unified curriculum that has been benchmarked against global standards. Aspirants may register at the respective centres for regular footballing sessions.
