Infrastructure Project Inaugurated

The inauguration of the ‘Upgradation of Infrastructure in the Rural Areas under Deendayal Panchayat Raj Infrastructure Development (Golden Jubilee) Scheme 2013, Pernem Taluka, Village Panchayat Querim-Tiracol’ was done today at the hands of Chief Minister of Goa,
Laxmikant Parsekar, in the distinguished presence of the Minister for Panchayati Raj, Environment and Forests; Zilla Panchayat Member, Arun Bandhkar; Director, Directorate of Panchayat, Gurudas P. Pilarnekar; Sarpanch, V.P. Querim Tiracol and others.
Under the visionary leadership of Pramod P. Sawant, GSIDC is helping lead the way in building quality infrastructure for the state of Goa. Currently, the corporation is in the process of building roads, bridges, hospitals, colleges, schools, libraries, stadiums, jetties, bus stands, cultural centres and market complexes and is involved in the holistic development of rural and urban spaces.
Adding to this list of works, GSIDC had undertaken “Upgradation Of Infrastructure in the Rural Areas Under Deendayal Panchayat Raj Infrastructure Development (Golden Jubilee) Scheme 2013, Pernem Taluka, Village Panchayat Querim-Tiracol”.
The total area of the Ground +2 structure is 466 sq. mts. The Panchayat Ghar house conducts of separate rooms for Sarpanch, Dy. Sarpanch, Secretary, Panchayat office, 3 shops, a post office and toilets. A meeting hall is also being developed on the second floor with a capacity of approximately 100 people.
The consultant on the project is Oracle Structural Consultants and the contractor is Trivikram Constructions. The approximate cost of the project is 1.20 crore.
