KOCHI:
“Young Engineers should possess new outlook and should be keen in inventing new products”, said Cusat Vice Chancellor Dr. J. Letha while inaugurating the Student Chapter of Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) supported by TEQIP Phase – III.
Dr. Letha also said that the concept of Green Building should be incorporated in the engineering syllabus. This is the first student chapter of IGBC in Kerala. Dr. M. R. Radhakrishna Panicker, Principal, SOE presided over the function. Arch. B. R. Ajith, (IGBC Chairman and Asian School of Architecture and Design Director), Dr. K. K. Saju (Syndicate Member & Director IRAA), Dr. P. S. Sreejith (Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Dr. C. A. Babu, Dr. Gireeshkumaran Thampi and Dr. Glory Joseph spoke at the function.
