THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
The three-day district-level competitions of India Skills Kerala 2018, being jointly organised by Industrial Training Department and Kerala Academy for Skills Excellence (KASE), will commence on Tuesday. The ITIs at Chackai, Attingal, Kazhakuttam and Dhanuvachapuram in the district will be the competition centres.
Besides, the restaurant and service skills competitions of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha regions will be held at BTC, Kollam. The district-level inauguration will be held in the respective districts. Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Health Standing Committee Chairman K. Sreekumar will inaugurate the event at ITI, Chackai.

All participants should reach the respective competition centres with hall tickets. The winner will get Rs 1 lakh as prize money and the runner-up Rs 50,000.
