The Kochi Campus of Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has announced the selection list for the admission of its 6th batch of Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) in Management for the year 2018 – 2020 for working executives. As in the earlier years, this year too, the applicant pool was of extraordinarily high quality.
The inauguration ceremony of the new batch will be held on the 17th of November 2018 from 11:30AM onwards at the Athulya Auditorium, Infopark Kakkanad. This would be followed by an induction ceremony to introduce students to the language of business through participant centered learning processes.
EPGP in Management is a two-year post graduate diploma programme, accredited by (Association of MBAs) AMBA*. It is a non-residential, face-to-face programme in-classroom at Kochi Campus for working executives aspiring for leadership positions in their organizations. The program is made available in two cohorts so as to match with the work schedule of executives.
In the 6th batch, there are 79 participants in total, which includes 51 in the weekend batch and 28 participants in the evening batch. The diversity details are as follows – 28 candidates (> 30 percent of the proposed batch) with over 10 years of work experience, 11 women executives ( 15 percent of the batch),8 Entrepreneurs (10 percent ). 8 Sponsored candidates from Organizations that have instituted fellowships for EPGP candidates namely – TCS, Cochin Shipyard Ltd., and BPCL. The ITES sector (48 percent) followed by services sector (25 percent) are the main verticals where the participants are currently employed.
