ABU DHABI:
BSE Institute Ltd in colaboration with IBMC Professionals launched the BSE Financial Trading Competition at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) as a part of the WorldSkills 2017 the world’s largest skill event.
The Competition was inaugurated with a formal bell ringing ceremony by Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Al Hamed, the Chairman of IBMC UAE. The Competition will run over 4 days of trading from 15th to 18th October, across 4 different asset classes – equity derivatives, bonds, currency derivatives and commodity derivatives.
The trading competition used BOLT on the web the trading platform from BSE which is the world’s fastest trading platform performing at an incredible speed of 6 microseconds per transaction.
Speaking on this occasion Ambarish Datta Managing Director and CEO of BSE Institute said “We have always believed that trading is a highly specailzed skill involving analysis, focus, research orientation, discipline and flexibility. We hope that we can effectively demonstrate this during WorldSkills 2017 at Abu Dhabi and help it gain the recognition that it so truly deserves and get many countries in the world to participate by nominating their teams.”
