Huddle Global 2024: Women Zone to Rev up Female-led Startup Landscape

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
An exclusive ‘Women Zone’, aiming at elevating female-led startup landscape, will be a major highlight of Huddle Global 2024, India’s largest beach side festival for startups organized by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) at Kovalam here from November 28-30.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the sixth edition of the flagship event, bringing together over 10000 participants including 3000 plus startups, 200 plus HNIs, 100 plus mentors, over 150 investors and 100 plus corporate executives.

By having a dedicated space to celebrate and scale up female-led startups, Women Zone will offer opportunities for networking, mentorship, investments, exposure, and growth for upcoming women entrepreneurs.

Planned as a key segment, the Women Zone will have dedicated sessions such as Women in Leadership Talks, Women Entrepreneurs’ Expo and Women Innovators’ Hub for sharing experience and exchange of ideas on female-centric startup landscape. It will also have exclusive bootcamps and masterclasses for delivering valuable insights and skills to women-led startups across verticals.

The “ElevateHer: Investment Pathway for Women Founders” an Investment Readiness Program designed to support 10 selected women-led startups under is another key agenda of the Women Zone. The program in partnership with Womennovator focuses on preparing pitch decks, refining storytelling techniques and conducting mock pitch sessions, leading up to a Final Demo Day with a Pitch Competition at Huddle Global 2024. The winning startup get opportunities from VC’s/AC’s to secure investment and to accelerate its growth. The application call out for the program will be made during mid of October.

Sessions such as the No Code workshop and the Mental Wellness workshop will also enrich the event, offering both technical skills and holistic well-being practices.

A key event, “PRAGATI: Balancing Emotional Well-being and Business,” will be led by Vinitha Joseph, Founder of Bluepurple Management Consulting Pvt Ltd. This workshop, designed for a selected cohort of 30-40 women startups, aspiring entrepreneurs, and student innovators, will address crucial topics to foster a community that supports emotional and professional growth of female entrepreneurs.

Huddle Global 2024 will witness signing of MoUs with potential stakeholders, announcement of corporate investments, forging business partnerships, networking and mentor speed dating.

An expo, where over 250 startups will showcase their products and services, has also been planned.

More than 150 speakers drawn from around the world will share their perspectives and insights on live themes, throwing light on the global business and technology scenario at Huddle Global 2024.
