Ernakulam UDF candidate Hibi Eden submitted his Nomination letter. MLA, V D Satheesan and MLA, Ebrahim Kunju were present at the occasion. Hibi Eden sought blessings from his late parents before heading to Kakkanad for submission. The candidate along with UDF leaders and workers reached the Collectorate at 11.40 am. At 12.15 pm Hibi Eden submitted his Nomination Letter to District Collector Mohammed Y Saffirulla.
V D Satheesan MLA, Former Minister K Babu, Ebrahim Kunju MLA, P T Thomas MLA, Eldhose Kunnappilly MLA, Former MLA Dominic Presentation, Charles Dias MP, Mayor Soumini Jain, District Panchayat President Asha Sanil, DCC President T J Vinod, Muslim League District Secretary Nazar, Kerala Congress M District Secretary, Xavi Kurishuveetil accompanied the candidate.

Hibi Eden said that destruction of Mahatma Ayyankali’s statue is a symbol of Intolerance. Hibi Eden was speaking at Pothotta were Mahatma Ayyankali’s statue was destroyed by anti-socials.
Ayyankali has been a huge part of social reformation in Kerala and the transformations that his struggle brought in our society is enormous. Destroying the statue of such a great person is unforgivable, said Hibi Eden. He added, Negative actions against individuals, society or institutions will be identified by the civil population.
Hibi Eden reached Poothotta after the Nomination Letter submission at the Collectorate today morning.
