The Guinness Book of Records for Heart Beat 2019, aimed at educating students on CPR, is a life-saving way to reduce the risk of heart attack. Hands-Only CPR training of over 9000 participants in 8 hours and 28015 participants in 24 hours.
At the event held at the Nedumbasheri CIAL Convention Center, 28,523 people underwent CPR training in eight hours. In addition to Guinness, this feat also reached the Best of India Records. Students from grades nine to plus two from 350 schools in the district participated in the program.

As many as 4000 students participated in each batch of CPR training for 400 teams consisting of 10 people. The students in batches were trained in eight hours from 9.45 am to 5.45 pm. Each batch had the services of 400 skilled trainers and 80 stewards to guide them. Heartbeats began at 9.45 am Sachin V Menon, Dr. Venugopalan PP and Dr. V Ajith led the team. In addition there was the observation of a team of four experts.
The ten-minute CPR, or one-hour session, is a video and class explaining how to do first aid practice in the chest. Then the mannequin crosses over to both presses. Each student was given two minutes each. Of these, they performed up to 200 CPR. Guinness Advisor Rishinath’s team has set the record. Heartbeats 2019 was led by 1000 Doctors, 3,000 Volunteers, 80 Stewards and 3,000 Organizing Committee members. 400 manicure used.
