First anniversary of Fr Davis Chiramel Charitable Trust Hunger Hunt Project Inaugurated

Assembly Speaker M B Rajesh inaugurated the first anniversary of Fr Davis Chiramel Hunger Hunt and distribution of food shelf at Koratty on Sunday.

Fr Davis Chiramel, Chairman, Hunger Hunt @ 2021 presided and Benny Behanan, MP delivered the keynote address. Rishiraj Singh, IPS (Rtd. DGP); S Santhosh, DIG; Jose G Oommen, Chairman, YMCA Kerala Region; A G Suresh, Supdt. of Prison & Correctional Services; B K Arun, SHO, Koratty Janamythri Police Station; Dr Syed Muhammad Al Qasmie, Chairman, IRSHADIYYA Group of Institutions; Rev. Fr, Jose Edassery, Vicar, St. Mary’s Forane Church, Koratty and Dr K M Thomas, Convenor, Hunger Hunt Co-ordinators also attended the function.

Cine Artist and State award winner Sreerekha Sandeep was honoured at the function. Managing Trustee C V Jose presented the report and Trust Chairman
Rajan P Thomas welcomed the gathering. General Convenor Saji George Veliyath delivered vote of thanks.

As part of the second phase of the project, food shelfs will be distributed across Kerala with the cooperation of various organisations.
