Federal Bank conducted awareness classes for the public at Abad Plaza Hotel, Ernakulam. The meeting was organized as part of Nation-wide intensive awareness programme launched by Reserve Bank of India to enhance the level of financial education and awareness amongst the customers on financial customers rights & complaint redressal mechanism like Internal Grievances Redress (IGR) and Alternative Grievance Redress (AGR) mechanism of RBI.
The event was inaugurated by Renjith Krishnan N, Sub-Judge & Secretary, District Legal Services Authority. Sobha M, Nodal Officer, Service Quality Department, Federal Bank, Anoop V Raj, Deputy Ombudsman & DGM, Reserve Bank of India, Thiruvananthapuram, Kuriakose Conil, Senior Vice President & Zonal Head-Ernakulam and Mohankumar P D, Lead District Manager, Union Bank of India addressed the gathering.
Detailed sessions on Integrated Ombudsman Scheme-2021 and safe banking practices, customer rights and grievance redressal were handled by Sreekanth M, Manager, Reserve Bank of India, Thiruvananthapuram and Shri Ramu S Nair, Asst. Vice President & Branch Head, Federal Bank Br Marine Drive respectively.
